You’ll be picked up from your hotel in the morning and be taken for a short drive to the nearby Arusha National Park. This park is often overlooked by visitors to Tanzania which is contrastingly a special place to be. Your drive-guide will take you to marvellous Ngurdoto Crater and show you the resident wildlife around. You’ll get to enjoy a canoeing safari (optional) in the park and experience the wildlife from a whole different perspective. Resident wild animals frequent this place for quenching their thirst and the territory promises a good nature sighting. A walking safari into the woods is also an option which often turns into a memorable affair for tourists. It is the only place in the northern circuit of Tanzania where the black and white colobus monkeys are seen. Leopards, hyenas, and elephants are also seen in this park, though in lesser number. Waterbuck, giraffe, zebra are present in significant number. But the park is home to colourful bird species including trogon, turaco, and flamingo. Your driver-cum-tour guide will help you in spotting all the animals found in this park. A picnic lunch in the middle of this park is often a delightful feeling.
